Fear and ignorance is often a key player in the subject of Racism. When we get past the fear and ignorance and can come to understanding and know one another, we can cross the bridge to living together Peaceful in a world where everyone is treated Justly. We have a long way to go. Through this conversation we will explore actionable ways to come to Peace and deliver Justice for All. June 28, 2020 Join Global Faith in Action for Part II of the Conversation In Action: Standing Together Against Injustice, as we continue to hear from different faith leaders to address how we, as citizens from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, might reach across the divide and seek to end injustice. Our society is faced with two crises: a global pandemic which is affecting our health, our economics, and our daily lives; and an awareness, regrettably new for some, of systemic racism and bigotry in our society. How we respond to these crises comes from our disparate backgrounds. What can help us understand that ours is not the only valid understanding? How can we reach out and learn about the hopes and fears and dreams of others? How can we take that knowledge, add it to our own, and address these crises and the societal disruption they cause? There will be an opportunity for questions and respectful discussion from the community. If possible, please submit your questions on the Facebook Event Discussion Board beforehand. The video will also be recorded and posted onto Global Faith In Action's YouTube page after the event has conclude Sunday June 7, 2020 Join Global Faith in Action as we have a Conversation in Action with different faith leaders addressing how we, as citizens from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, might reach across the divide and seek to understand our diversity.
